The Vatican has lent the Victoria and Albert Museum four of the most famous tapestries from the Sistine Chapel ahead of the Pope's visit.   • भिवंडीत २ मुलांचा बुडून मृत्यू
    दहीहंडीचा उत्सव पाहण्यासाठी घराबाहेर पडलेल्या २ अल्पवयीन मुलांचा खाणीत बुडून मृत्यू झाल्याची घटना शुक्रवारी भिवंडीत घडली. गौतम पांडे (११) आणि किरण सरकार (१२) अशी या दुदैर्वी मुलांची नावे आहेत. भिवंडीतील नारपोली पोलिस स्टेशनच्या हद्दीत चरणीपाडा येथे राहणारी ही मुले दहीहंडीचा उत्सव पाहण्यासाठी गुरुवारी सकाळी घराबाहेर पडले होते. सायंकाळी ते एका मंडळाच्या दहीहंडीत आनंद लुटतांना दिसले होते. मात्र त्यानंतर त्यांचा काहीही ठावठिकाणा नसल्याने पालकांनी मुले बेपत्ता झाल्याची तक्रार नारपोली पोलिसांकडे केली होती. या मुलांचा मृतदेह त्यांच्या घरापासून जवळच एका दगडाच्या खाणीत आढळून आला. ही खाण बंद असली तरी पावसामुळे खाणीत पाणी साचले होते. त्यात बुडून दोघा मुलांचा मृत्यू झाला असण्याची शक्यता एसीपी पराग मणेरी यांनी व्यक्त केली. प्राथमिक तपासात यामध्ये कोणताही संशयास्पद प्रकार आढळला नसल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
